Travel Advisories
For a number of years now Western Governments have been issuing advisories for their citizens travelling overseas. These advisories have become more and more detailed as the world becomes a more challenging environment (perceptually and actually).
I believe these advisories are a valuable source of information but I suspect that, quite rightly in my opinion, they will not be your only source. They can only take an official line and one which aims to limit the government’s liability in the event of a calamity.
They are a great place to start though and for your convenience I have listed links to official government websites in the countries where the majority of my readership appear to reside.
